From a poem by Carlos Pellicer that includes an encrypted love
message, it is examined in this paper a series of poetic and
romantic ties to the Mexican group Los Contemporáneos (including some surrounding figures like the Honduran Rafael Heliodorus Valle). The article focuses on the communication of “secrets” of homosexual love, that once become poetic motifs, move from private to public.
