Este trabajo se sitúa en el ámbito de la historiografía lingüística. El propósito es mostrar las condiciones extra e interdisciplinares que permiten la configuración de objetos de estudio particulares a medida que las comunidades científicas evolucionan. Se verá que la lingüística actual (cognitiva) es el resultado de un largo proceso de pulimento del objeto de estudio de la lingüística general, considerada aquella no solo como campo disciplinar, sino también como una actividad "cerebral" humana.
This work is located within the field of Linguistic Historiography. The goal is to show the extra and interdisciplinary conditions that allow for the configuration of a particular object of study along with the evolution of the scientific communities. It will be demonstrated that current linguistics (cognitive linguistics) is the result of a long process of improvement of the object of study of general linguistics and that cognitive linguistics is not only a discipline but also an activity of the human brain.
